Assets for Independence (AFI) Program
RDAC has joined the statewide effort at NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) and will participate in the AFI program which provides matched-savings for down-payment assistance for income-eligible first-time home buyers. Applications for grants up to $7,500 are available.
Call (845) 524-HOME (4663) for an AFI application packet. You can also visit the DHCR web site at http://nysdhcr.gov/Programs/AssetsForIndependence/ to view an AFI video or print an AFI brochure.
