Programs: Practical Mortgage Navigation
RDAC's Practical Mortgage Navigation workshop will provide you with the following:
- An understanding of your mortgage
- Identification of any problems and
possible solutions
- An understanding of the various types of budgets and their effectiveness
After you take this class you will be
familiar with mortgage basics, including terms, rates, ratios and
mortgage types. You will also understand the difference between
an actual budget and a crisis budget. Finally, you will
understand your options if you want to keep your house
(refinancing/reverse mortgage, repayment plan, forbearance, loan
modification, principle recapture, advance/partial claim) or if you do
not want to keep your house (sale, short sale, deed in lieu). You
will also have the opportunity to ask questions of the RDAC team which
includes certified housing counselors, bankers, and realtors.
